Course Philosophy
Know the past to understand the present to
see the future. Students are the center of
our California colleges. Under proper
instruction and inspiration, students will
learn to apply the lessons of history to
achieve individual success and communal
harmony. Popularized by Harvard
University, Applied History is the explicit
attempt to illuminate current challenges and
choices by analyzing historical precedents
and analogues.
